West Division

• States:  AZ, CA, CO, MT, NM, NV, OR, ND, SD, TX, UT, WA, WY, SK, AB, BC, and points west

Home to about 6% of our membership, historically our roads have little connection with this region. So, we selected SCL colors to mark the still-born merger proposal of the 1970’s that would have combined the Seaboard Coast Line and Southern Pacific. The sight of SCL U36B locos climbing Cajon Pass during a test was a memorable photo from Trains Magazine back in the day!
