The Board of Directors regrets to announce the sudden passing of longtime member and board member Arthur Buxton “Buck” Dean this past Friday February 21st in Jacksonville, Florida. In addition to our railroads, Buck was a fan of the Frisco Railroad having grown up in Kansas City; a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan, Buck was also an active modeler of armor and aircraft in addition to model trains. Buck’s obituary with details on services this Friday can be seen here: Arthur Dean Obituary - Jacksonville, FL and in lieu of flowers, Buck’s wife Deborah advises that donations to the Youth Fund at Southpoint Baptist Church of Jacksonville would be appreciated: Southpoint Baptist Church. It is one of the drop-down options under the Giving section. The Society is donating to this fund and several of the board members plan to attend the service.
