Affiliated & Partner Railroads

The following railroads were affiliated with ACL, SAL, and SCL either through ownership or participation in joint line trains, and have their own historical societies. From time to time, they will be covered in our articles and store products.

• Louisville & Nashville Railroad Historical Society
  Owned by ACL and folded into Seaboard System. Handled ACL/SCL joint line passenger trains to Chicago, and SAL/SCL joint line passenger trains from Jacksonville to New Orleans.

• Nashville, Chattanooga & St Louis Railway Preservation Society
  Owned and merged into L&N. Handled ACL joint line passenger trains to Chicago.

• Florida East Coast Railway Society
  Handled ACL/SAL joint line passenger trains from Jacksonville to Miami .

• Clinchfield Railroad Historical Society (NRHS Chapter)
  Owned by ACL, and folded into Seaboard System.

• CSX Transportation Historical Society
  ACL/SAL/SCL descendant railroad.

• Chicago & Eastern Illinois Railroad Historical Society
  Handled ACL joint line passenger trains to Chicago.

• Illinois Central Historical Society
  Handled ACL/SCL joint line passenger trains to Chicago.

• Illinois Central Railroad Heritage Association
  Handled ACL/SCL joint line passenger trains to Chicago.

• Pennsylvania Railroad Technical & Historical Society
  Handled ACL, SAL, and SCL joint line passenger trains to New York and Chicago.

• Penn Central Railroad Historical Society
  Handled SCL joint line passenger trains to New York, and for a while, Chicago.

• Tampa Union Station
  Built by ACL, SAL, and the Tampa Northern.
