Donations

The ACL & SAL RR HS offers many opportunities for donors to contribute to our work and to be assured their investment will be used to further the cause of railroad history. We are a nonprofit educational organization recognized under IRS code section 501(c)(3), and the value of funds or materials contributed to us is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Contributing Memberships

We offer several categories by which individuals and organizations may contribute additional funds beyond their regular membership dues levels. Amounts above the value of regular membership are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

  • Our four contributing membership levels and their benefits (Sustaining, Century, Patron, and Benefactor) are explained and are payable through our convenient online store.

  • These memberships and other financial contributions may also be made by check to our Leesburg, Fla., address, found on our contact page.

  • Unless you request otherwise, we recognize contributing members by name and category from time to time in our “Lines for Members” membership newsletter.

General Financial Donations

We gladly accept other general financial donations in any amount; please use our convenient online donations page, or checks may also be sent to our Leesburg address.

Many of you may also work for a company that provides matching corporate gifts.

Finally, we invite you to remember the Society in your wills and estate planning.
